1. Tristen Keys — WR, Hattiesburg (Committed to LSU)
The face of the Pine Belt in 2025. Keys exploded for over 1,200 yards last fall and has the tools to step into Baton Rouge as an immediate playmaker. His speed and ability to turn a five-yard catch into a 60-yard score will make him the focal point of every defensive game plan this season.
2. Corey Wells — DL, Petal (Committed to Texas)
At 6’5” and nearly 300 pounds, Wells is already college-ready. Texas locked him up early, seeing in him a disruptive force who collapses pockets and eats double-teams. For Petal, he’ll anchor a defense that wants to set a physical tone every Friday night.
3. Bryson Cooley — OL, West Jones (Committed to LSU)
Cooley is one of the most polished offensive linemen in the state. LSU sees him as a future anchor in the trenches, and in high school he’s the type of tackle who simply erases pass rushers. West Jones will lean heavily on his ability to open lanes and protect the quarterback.
4. Zechariah Jenkins — WR, Laurel (Committed to Memphis)
Laurel’s offense flows through Jenkins, who brings length, hands, and leadership to the Golden Tornadoes. Memphis landed a gem here, and this fall he’ll continue to showcase why he’s one of the most dangerous receivers in the region. Expect him to be a go-to in crunch-time situations.
5. John “AJ” Tarvin — CB, Hattiesburg (Committed to Louisiana Tech)
Tarvin is a lockdown corner who thrives in press coverage. Louisiana Tech landed a defensive back who loves the challenge of shadowing WR1 every week. His physicality on the perimeter allows Hattiesburg’s defense to get aggressive with blitz packages.
6. Trey Shaw — OL, Oak Grove (Committed to Mississippi State)
Oak Grove prides itself on physical football, and Shaw is the enforcer in the trenches. Mississippi State loves offensive linemen with a mean streak, and Shaw fits the mold. Expect him to dominate at the point of attack all season long.
7. Edward Ruffin — DL, Oak Grove (Committed to Arkansas State)
The other half of Oak Grove’s formidable front, Ruffin is already pledged to Arkansas State. He’s a gap-crasher who thrives on penetration, and his presence gives the Warriors a disruptive interior force opponents can’t ignore.
8. Tra Lewis — RB, Columbia (Committed to Southern Miss)
With Chip Bilderback back on the Columbia sideline, Lewis will be the hammer in the run game. Southern Miss locked in a back who brings vision and burst, and he’ll be central to Columbia’s push for another deep playoff run.
9. TJ Barnes — RB, Collins (Committed to Alcorn State)
A workhorse with bruising strength, Barnes churned out 700+ yards as a junior and will be the bell cow again this fall. Alcorn State picked up a downhill runner who punishes defenders, and Collins will ride his shoulders when games get tight.
10. Braelyn Harrison — WR/DB, Sumrall (Committed to South Alabama)
Harrison is the definition of a two-way playmaker. South Alabama loves his versatility, and in high school he changes games on offense, defense, and special teams. With Sumrall moving up in classification, Harrison’s leadership will be key to keeping the Bobcats competitive.
