It’s a road week for the two Coast baseball clubs, with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos traveling to Chattanooga and the Biloxi Shuckers rolling into Columbus, Georgia for a road series with the Columbus Clingstones. Meanwhile, all eyes turn to Trustmark Park, where the Mississippi Mud Monsters return home for a six-game set against the Down East Bird Dogs, bringing big promotions and even bigger personalities to Pearl.
Here is a look at the Homestand Highlights for the week.
Tuesday, June 24 – Master Mudders & Ballpark Bingo (6:05p.m.)
The homestand kicks off with a salute to our seasoned fans for Master Mudders Club Night, honoring those 55 and up who’ve seen it all—and probably have the bobblehead wall to prove it. Enjoy a night of prizes, community, and all-ages bingo, with cards available behind home plate at the customer service table.
Wednesday, June 25 – Monster Matinee & Mystery Meat (11a.m.)
Baseball brunch returns with an 11 a.m. Monster Matinee, part of Youth & Senior Day at the ballpark. “What’s on the Stick?” Wednesday brings back the fan-favorite Mystery Country Pleasin’ Sausage for just $2, or choose your own for $3. Try all seven meat-on-a-stick flavors this season to earn the exclusive “Meat the Challenge” T-shirt.
Thursday, June 26 – Golf Night & Thirsty Thursday
Break out the loud pants—it’s Golf Night, Frontier League style. With golf games, wacky giveaways. It’s also Thirsty Thursday, featuring $2 16oz draft beers all night.
Friday, June 27 – Fireworks Friday with Smokey Bear
A Trustmark Park tradition returns as Fireworks Friday, presented by the Mississippi Forestry Commission, lights up the sky postgame. The legendary Smokey the Bear will be on-site for a special first pitch and photo ops throughout the night. Come for the flames, stay for the fun.
Saturday, June 28 – Red, White & Tanked! (21+)
It’s the most American night of the year—Red, White & Tanked, presented by Southern Beverage Company. The first 1,000 fans aged 21+ receive a patriotic Budweiser tank top jersey, and yes, the Mud Monsters will hit the field in full beer-themed uniforms. Fans can bid on the game-worn jerseys during a silent auction, with winners receiving them directly off the players’ backs after the final out.
Sunday, June 29 – Howl in the Park & Family Feature Day
Close out the homestand with a Family Feature Sunday, including Kids Run the Bases, presented by the Mississippi Children’s Museum in Jackson. It’s also Howl in the Park, so bring your dogs, your little ones, or just your inner child for an afternoon of ballpark magic.
