The Old Waverly Collegiate Championship is an annual men’s collegiate golf tournament held at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, MS. The event is hosted by Mississippi State University and features top collegiate golf teams competing in a multi-round format.
The tournament is played on the par-72, 7,088-yard Old Waverly course, which was designed by Jerry Pate (U.S. Open Champion) and Bob Cupp. The course is known for its scenic beauty and challenging layout, requiring precision and strategic play.

Ole Miss secured its second sweep of the season and third victory overall, finishing with a team score of 825 (-39)—a new tournament low-54 record, surpassing the previous mark of 20-under par set by Georgia in 2021. Their 33-stroke win was the largest margin of victory in program history.

Tom Fischer and Michael La Sasso both shot 203 (-13), tying the individual low-54 record in tournament history. Mississippi State had a strong showing, finishing second after two rounds. Dain Richie, Harrison Davis, and Ugo Malcor all placed in the top 10, with Richie shooting back-to-back rounds of 69 (-3). Davis and Malcor also posted solid scores, keeping Mississippi State competitive throughout the event.
Up next for both teams: The Old Waverly serves as the regular-season finale for many teams before heading into postseason play. Both Mississippi State and Ole Miss head to St. Simons Island, GA for the SEC Golf Tournament which begins Sunday.
