Southern Miss baseball may be in its offseason, but the Golden Eagles are still getting work in across the summer baseball map.
After a 44-win season and another NCAA Regional run, Southern Miss has players scattered from Cape Cod to Rhode Island, Kansas and the USA Baseball pipeline. The headliner is left-hander Grayden Harris, who was named to the 2026 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team after allowing no runs and no walks with eight strikeouts over five innings during the team’s pre-Taiwan training trip. Harris is scheduled to represent the United States at the World Collegiate Baseball Championship in Taichung City, Taiwan, from July 11-15.
