Led Jackson State to a 57–24 win over Alabama A&M at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile.
Finished 21-of-30 for 314 yards and 4 touchdowns through the air.
Added 120 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD, totaling 434 yards of offense and 5 scores.
Hit deep strikes of 22, 37 and 60 yards, spreading the ball to multiple receivers.
Directed an offense that piled up 702 total yards, one of JSU’s biggest outputs in recent seasons.

Defensive Player of the Week

Anchored the front line in Delta State’s 45–0 shutout of Barton College.
Recorded 6 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss and a forced fumble.
Helped limit Barton to just 114 total yards and 5 first downs all game.
Sparked a defense that posted back-to-back shutouts for the first time since 1965.
Set the tone early with constant backfield pressure that disrupted every Barton drive.

A&M’s defense held MSU to just 219 total yards and forced multiple negative plays.
A&M outgained MSU 479 to 219 yards total.
Texas A&M ran for 299 yards, led by Réuben Owens II with 142 yards on the ground.
QB Marcel Reed completed 2 TD passes and added a rushing score (180 passing yards total).
MSU’s only touchdown: 44-yard pass from Blake Shapen to Brenen Thompson in the 4th quarter.

WRs Shemar Savage and Ja’Naylon Dupree each caught two of Morgan’s TD passes.

Alcorn dropped a heartbreaker at home after a late 44-yard field goal by PVAMU decided it.
QB Jaylon Tolbert threw for 176 yards, including a 71-yard strike to Ja’Coby Matthews to set up a score.
RB Reggie Davis punched in a 2-yard TD run to give the Braves a 12–10 third-quarter lead.
K Lorenzo Garcia added a pair of field goals (30 and 32 yards).
The Braves’ defense kept it close but couldn’t overcome five sacks and limited rushing lanes.
Alcorn finished with 270 total yards while PVAMU edged them 348-270 overall.

Final: Delta State 45, Barton College 0
The No. 20-ranked Statesmen rolled to their second straight shutout, their first back-to-back blankings since 1965.
QB Garrett Ames went 17-of-31 for 197 yards, leading a balanced offensive attack.
RB Nick Clark powered the ground game with 3 rushing touchdowns (4, 8, and 3 yards).
Qualon Farrar added two more short TD runs to seal the win.
WR Jaden Gibson led the receivers with 77 yards, including a 39-yard grab.
The defense was dominant—allowing just 114 total yards, forcing 4 turnovers, and posting 8 tackles for loss.
DL Austin Collins and Jacquez Tucker spearheaded a relentless pass rush that set the tone early.
Special teams stayed sharp with Dean Roberts 4-for-4 on PATs and solid punting from Price Nixon.

Final: Millsaps 36, Centre College 37
Freshman QB Grant Bizjack piled up 416 all-purpose yards and threw 5 touchdown passes vs Hendrix earlier in the season (context for his impact).

Belhaven opened conference play with a dramatic overtime win.
QB Brock Morris threw for 271 yards and 2 touchdowns.
WR Wyatt Locastro hauled in both receiving touchdowns (21 yd & 53 yd).
The Blazers trailed 17–3 in the 3rd quarter before storming back.
Belhaven’s defense made the play in OT — an interception by Dee Gray helped shut down Brevard’s possession.
In OT, the Blazers capitalized with an 11-yard field goal to seal the victory.
