
​The 2025 Sun Belt Conference Men’s Golf Championship concluded at Annandale Golf Club in Madison on Thursday, with Coastal Carolina clinching the title in a dramatic finish. The Chanticleers edged out defending champions Arkansas State 3–2 in the final match play round, thanks to sophomore Jack Lee’s decisive birdie putt on the first playoff hole.

Stroke Play: Coastal Carolina secured the No. 1 seed for match play by finishing stroke play at 14-under-par 850, narrowly surpassing Arkansas State’s 13-under 851.

Semifinals: In the semifinals, Coastal Carolina defeated No. 4 seed Troy 3–2, while Arkansas State overcame No. 3 seed Georgia Southern by the same margin.

Finals: The championship match was tightly contested, culminating in Jack Lee’s clutch performance that secured Coastal Carolina’s second Sun Belt title and their first NCAA Regional appearance since 2018.
Southern Miss Tournament Recap

Southern Miss finished 8th in the stroke play portion with a team score of 868 (+4). Junior Will Burnham led the Golden Eagles, tying for 22nd place individually with a total score of 145. Sophomore Benjamin Fernandez and freshman Matthew Javier followed closely, tying for 30th and 32nd respectively.
South Alabama Tournament Recap
South Alabama concluded the tournament in 9th place, posting a team score of 871 (+7). Despite a strong final round of 278, the Jaguars fell short of advancing to match play.
With Coastal Carolina’s victory, they now await their NCAA Regional destination, to be announced during the selection show on April 30 at 1 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.
