Fresh off WrestleMania 41 weekend, All Elite Wrestling returns to New Orleans and is set to deliver another action-packed edition of AEW Dynamite live from the UNO Lakefront Arena.
After a six-month absence from AEW Dynamite, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson, better known as The Young Bucks, will step back into the ring for their first match since October 30. The EVPs of AEW will face the dynamic duo of Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey, who are looking to make a statement against one of the most decorated tag teams in wrestling history.
The prestigious Owen Hart Foundation Tournament continues with a highly anticipated semifinal match between Jamie Hayter and Kris Statlander. Both women have been standout performers in AEW’s stacked women’s division, and this clash promises to be a hard-hitting affair. Hayter, fresh off visa issues, has regained her confidence with stellar performances, while Statlander remains one of AEW’s most consistent workhorses. Expect a battle of power and precision as they vie for a spot in the tournament finals.
The Don Callis Family has added new members and brought back old friends, including Josh Alexander and Trent Beretta, to its growing ranks. What’s next for the Family? Well, tonight, Alexander and Konosuke Takeshita will take on Brody King and Will Ospreay in a huge 2025 Owen Hart Cup All-Star Tag Match!
Hip-hop mogul and the current Director of Operations for the UNO Basketball program Master P will be making a guest appearance on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.  This is Master P’s first appearance in a wrestling ring since WCW in 1999. When Master P and his No Limit Soldiers formed a stable that includes Rey Mysterio and Konnan. Whether this will turn out to be a one-off appearance or something more isn’t known, but fans are definitely looking forward to seeing what he will do.
This is only the second time AEW has come to the Crescent City. The last time being Jan 31, 2024, also from the UNO Lakefront Arena.  This will probably be the last time a major pro wrestling company runs in New Orleans until next year during WrestleMania 42 week.
With high-stakes matches and ongoing rivalries reaching boiling points, AEW Dynamite is shaping up to be another must-watch event. Tune in this Wednesday at 8 PM ET / 7 PM CT on TBS and Max for all the action
